Welch Grant to Chemistry Program Renewed

The Welch Foundation has renewed the chemistry program's departmental research grant for $120,000 for years 2004-2007. Currently, the chemistry program is completing the third year of the original grant. The grant supports collaborative research in chemistry by faculty and students, primarily through an intensive summer research program typically involving 7-10 upper-division chemistry and biochemistry students during the first summer session.
